THE iDOLM@STER is the first ever iDOLM@STER game, and was released on 22nd July 2005 at arcade machines in Japan. The story of the game follows the career of a producer who has to work for a section of 10 pop idols on their way to stardom. In the game, there were ten songs like the name of the game's song itself, First Stage, 9:02pm or Here we go!. The player is set to work for the 10 pop idols, to become the first ever Top Idol.
On October 2nd 2010, the game was made in six days to help with the release of The Idolm@ster 2.
